Sandra started making bears in the summer of 2001. Having an artistic background and a passion for sewing related crafts, Sandra took to teddy bear art very quickly and began producing outstanding creations. In more recent years, Sandra has started to make more traditional bears, one of which won a Readers Choice Award in 2005. We are delighted at Silly Bears to be the only Stockist of these adorable bears. Totally outstanding work by a very talented lady!
Sandra has created a very special boy and girl bear, based on the theme of Grandeur, for our Winter Collection 2010. The pair will be a limited edition of three pieces.
In addition to the above, we will also be showcasing three more of Sandra's outstanding bears at the Hugglets Show on Sunday 12th of September. Come and see us in Hall 1, stand 18C.
Olivia and Elliot are both 8.5inches (22cm) and are made from the finest dark honey mohair, both have black glass eyes and ivory wool felt paw pads. Olivia wears a beautiful hand-made cream striped cotton wrap-over dress, trimmed with a tartan sash.
