Judy Follows, also known as 'Bradgate Bears', from Leicestershire, England.

Judy has been making these adorable attic bears, since 2003. Judy's attic bears are quite traditional in character; and are influenced by the classic bears of yesteryear, in particular her own adorable Steiff bear 'Hovis', In addition to this, however, Judy also puts her own style of creativity into her work, with each of her bears having its own distinct character and personality.   

Another feature of Judy's work which we particularly admire is her fine workmanship and her attention to detail, a feature which is especially evident in the clothing which she loving creates for her bears. The clothes are invariably made from the finest of materials - silks, cotton and linen - and are always meticulously conceived and exquisitely crafted.  A very talented artist!

*Judy will be creating a selection of five bears to the theme of Victorian Bedtime, for our Winter Collection 2010. Launch date from the end of September.
