Melanie has been engrossed in the art of bear-making since 2004, conducting work as a part-time artist. Melanie is a fine and talented artist who has the skills necessary to produce the most divine creations and this has been evident across her collective work from the very outset. Melanie has a unique gift for capturing the essence of Early British bears in her workmanship, but owing to her artistic prowess, and the working of an element of realism into the faces of her bears, she has added a modern slant to this traditional composition. He is crafted from the finest hand-dyed wispy rose and soft white mohair with a pronounced muzzle and a beautifully embroidered pale taupe thread nose and mouth. Boots has deep set black glass eyes to enhance his sweet expression. All four paw pads are crafted from soft white wool felt with hand-painted aging. Boots poses in a handmade duck-egg blue linen sailor collar. Boots truly is an endearing bear. One-of-a-kind.
